Help us make use of all our Alpha Direct scraps here in the shop! These AD socks are great ultralight sleep socks for use in your sleep system. They can be used for hiking/running too but you should expect a shortened lifespan. In our testing their durability against the abrasion in a shoe has been surprisingly good and we actually haven’t blown a pair out yet, even after wet winter runs, but we have to expect that they are less durable than a normal hiking sock. They are really best as an ultralight, warm and soft sleep sock that will create a comfy barrier between feet and nylon shell fabrics.
